AN IN VITRO AND IN VIVO STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF A MOUTH SPRAY ON DENTURE MICRO ORGANISMS.
One shot of the mouth spray* is sprayed directly onto the palatial surface of
the denture 10 times and from a distance of 5cm. The denture was left for 30 minutes,
and afterwards it was concluded that no living organisms were found on the palatial
surface of the denture. Upon refitting the denture, spray the patients mouth with
the mouth spray* to maintain the very low micro-organisms found present. It was
also found that the mouth spray* caused no bleaching to the colour of the denture
and neither did it damage the denture material.
It was conclusively found that the mouth spray was an effective and suitable
chemical denture cleaning material that was easy to use.
